Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The tool requests your sex, birthday, your stated wellness, tobacco use, the payout size and period you want. Those responses generate rates from carriers. We don't gather name, address, phone or email to display quotes.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The amounts you see represent carrier pricing for your picked wellness class. The final rate is set by underwriting—it might move up, down or stay level. Information shown is not a quote offer, cost assurance, or approval guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You choose an insurer and enter a safe application with your earlier responses already filled in, managed by the carriers' portal. You can exit and return, and you're free to e-sign your work. Susman Insurance Agency, accredited in California (License 0B75129), oversees the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the company, your chosen coverage size and what you reported. Many plans now provide quick underwriting without an exam for applicants in certain ranges; each quote notes if screening is anticipated, possibly needed, or not anticipated.
Is a longer term better?
The coverage span should align with years when losing your income would harm your dependents: years with a loan to settle, kids to raise, a business to run. Longer terms mean higher monthly charges but keep your rate steady longer. The tool shows 10-, 15-, 20-, 25- and 30-year rates side-by-side for comparison.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Quotes don't need identity or contact details; we don't vend or divulge personal data; and our counting method avoids tracking. Check the data page for precisely what's gathered and by whom.
